After this step you can have access to the DVR&#8217;s interface to create a new password. Pretty easy, huh? \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Use the SADP tool<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">You can use the SADP tool to reset the password by exporting the configuration files, here are the steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Download and install the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hikvision.com\/Support\/Downloads\/Tools\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"outline: none;\" rel=\"noopener\">SADP tool<\/a><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Open the SADP tool and scan the network<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Select the device (DVR) and click &#8220;Forgot Password&#8221;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"cursor: text;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Click Export and download the configuration files&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"cursor: text;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Send the files to the Annke support team<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"cursor: text;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Import the key files into the DVR to reset the password<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">This process is simple, you just need to make sure the PC and the DVR are in the same local network so the SADP tool can find the device and create the file you will send to the Annke support team.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">The email you have to send the files is: support@annke.com<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">After exporting the files you need to immediately email them because there&#8217;s an expiration period.<\/p>\n<p style=\"cursor: text;\"><strong>==&gt;<\/strong> <strong><\/strong>Don&#8217;t restart the DVR before you get the key file back from the Annke support team, otherwise, the process won&#8217;t work and you will need to start all over again.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">The pictures below show the details of the procedure<\/p>\n<p>Make sure the DVR and the PC are in the same network.<\/p>\n<p><span><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"sadp tool forgot password\" data-id=\"15995\" width=\"640\" data-init-width=\"640\" height=\"346\" data-init-height=\"346\" title=\"sadp tool forgot password\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/learncctv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/sadp-tool-forgot-password.jpg\" data-width=\"640\" data-height=\"346\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Just export the files by clicking the &#8221; Export&#8221;&nbsp; button.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Save them in your computer and send to the Annke support team.<\/p>\n<p><span><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"sadp tool export\" data-id=\"15996\" width=\"532\" data-init-width=\"532\" height=\"548\" data-init-height=\"548\" title=\"sadp tool export\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/learncctv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/sadp-tool-export.jpg\" data-width=\"532\" data-height=\"548\" style=\"\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">After getting the file back just select &#8221; <em>Import file<\/em>&#8221; &nbsp;and import it.<\/p>\n<p><span><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"sadp tool import files\" data-id=\"15997\" width=\"530\" data-init-width=\"530\" height=\"549\" data-init-height=\"549\" title=\"sadp tool import files\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/learncctv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/sadp-tool-import-files.jpg\" data-width=\"530\" data-height=\"549\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">And that&#8217;s it.
