Let&#8217;s talk about it.<\/p>\n<h2>Free software to view Hikvision camera on TV<\/h2>\n<p style=\"cursor: text;\">I used the <strong>IP Camera Viewer&nbsp;<\/strong>to view the Hikvision camera on a TCL TV.<\/p>\n<p style=\"cursor: text;\">There are other apps with a similar name; <strong>Ioan Ghip <\/strong>developed the version that works on Roku. I&#8217;ve tried the process that automatically searches for ONVIF cameras, but it didn&#8217;t work, so I moved to the next method.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">For the Hikvision camera model, I&#8217;m using the &#8220;Scan&#8221; method worked pretty fine.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"\">Adding a Hikvision IP camera to a Roku TV<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Here&#8217;s the list of information you need to add the camera to the Roku TV.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The camera&#8217;s IP address<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">The TCP (HTTP)&nbsp; port number (usually 80)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Camera&#8217;s username (admin)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Camera&#8217;s authentication password<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Stream URL<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 style=\"\">Using the Scan button<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Scan button activates the stream URL testing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The IP camera viewer tests 100+ URLs to find which one works with the camera.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Here&#8217;s the step-by-step to use this method.<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Enter the camera&#8217;s information;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Click the Scan button;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Wait for the App Stream URL testing;<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;
