This article shows how to add the X and Y coordinates <\/strong>for an Axis PTZ <\/strong>camera.<\/p>\n

It doesn’t matter if you are using the old or new web interface; it works anyway.<\/p>\n

The picture below shows an example of my a camera with the coordinates.<\/p>\n

As you can see, the\u00a0<\/span>PTZ coordinates (X and Y )\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>are available along with other information such as bandwidth, Frame Rate, and camera temperature.<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s possible to display different information on old and new cameras.<\/p>\n

The following picture shows the PTZ coordinates in an Axis camera with the new interface (using the latest firmware).<\/p>\n

How to enable the coordinates on the screen<\/h2>\n

The variables to display the information work for cameras with old and new firmware. \u00a0See below the list of PTZ related variables (X, Y and Z).<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

#y<\/strong><\/td>\nTilt coordinates in two-decimal format.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
#z<\/strong><\/td>\nZoom coordinates (1\u201319999).<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
#Z<\/strong><\/td>\nZoom magnification in one-decimal format.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

You just need to insert them in the overlay text.<\/p>\n

It’s possible to use a combination of texts and variables.<\/p>\n
