These menus&#8217; location varies depending on the camera model and firmware version your Axis device is using.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Keep reading to see more details&#8230;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Understanding the Axis devices connections<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">The Axis devices act like a server waiting for connection on specific ports.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">It&#8217;s possible to connect to the webserver port using the HTTP (port 80) or HTTPS (port 43) protocol. It&#8217;s also common to establish connections to port 554.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Clients such as NVR (Network Video Recorder), VMS (Video Management System) request a connection to the camera on such ports. Then you can check that on the camera web interface and server report.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">How to check the Axis devices connections<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Let&#8217;s take a look at the different camera web interfaces.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">I will show you how to do that on the old and new interfaces.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Old web interface<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">The following picture shows how to check users connected to the camera.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Just open the Setup menu, click on&nbsp;<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Support<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&nbsp;&gt;&gt;&nbsp;<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">System Overview,&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">and then click on the &#8220;<\/span><strong><em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Connected clients<\/span><\/em><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8221; on the right side of the screen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Axis 223M System Overview Connected Users\" data-id=\"27374\" width=\"719\" data-init-width=\"760\" height=\"443\" data-init-height=\"468\" title=\"Axis 223M System Overview Connected Users\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/learncctv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/Axis-223M-System-Overview-Connected-Users.png\" data-width=\"719\" data-height=\"443\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">As you can see, there are three connections to the camera.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">All the connections are from the user &#8220;root&#8221; and come from the same client with IP <strong>192.168.0.160<\/strong>.
