{"id":27817,"date":"2021-11-08T07:00:49","date_gmt":"2021-11-08T12:00:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/learncctv.com\/?p=27817"},"modified":"2022-05-18T19:01:26","modified_gmt":"2022-05-19T00:01:26","slug":"wisenet-to-axis-camera-station","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/learncctv.com\/wisenet-to-axis-camera-station\/","title":{"rendered":"How to Add Wisenet Cameras to Axis Camera Station (via ONVIF)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">In this article, I show how to add Wisenet cameras to the Axis Camera Station.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">The Wisenet cameras don&#8217;t integrate directly with ACS but can work via ONVIF.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Some&nbsp;<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Wisenet&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">cameras are also known as&nbsp;<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Samsung Techwin&nbsp;<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">or&nbsp;<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Hanwha Techwin<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&nbsp;cameras since they are part of the same manufacturer\/brand.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">I&#8217;ve tested the Wisenet QNO-6010R, and it worked in the Axis Camera Station.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Add Wisenet cameras to ACS via ONVIF<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\"><strong>ACS <\/strong>is the short name for the <strong>Axis Camera Station<\/strong> software.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">I use ACS in this article to make it easy to refer to the software, OK?<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Add the camera to the software<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Here&#8217;s how to add a Wisenet camera to Axis Cameras Station:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Open the ACS client;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Click &#8220;Add devices&#8221;;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Wait for ACS to find the camera;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Select the camera and click &#8220;Enter Password&#8221;;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Type the camera username and password;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Click the &#8220;OK&#8221; button;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Click the &#8220;Add&#8221; button and follow the instructions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">The following picture shows how to add the camera to the software.<\/p>\n<p><span><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Add Wisenet Camera to ACS\" data-id=\"27830\" width=\"719\" data-init-width=\"1920\" height=\"405\" data-init-height=\"1080\" title=\"Add Wisenet Camera to ACS\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/learncctv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Add-Wisnet-Camera-to-ACS-01.png\" data-width=\"719\" data-height=\"405\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Add Wisenet Camera to Axis Camera Station (Click to Enlarge)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">After clicking the &#8220;Add&#8221; button (at the bottom right side), you just need to follow the wizard to configure the camera for recording. Let&#8217;s take a look at how to do that.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"cursor: text;\">Go to <strong>Recording and Events<\/strong> &gt;&gt; <strong>Action Rules<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li style=\"cursor: text;\">Click &#8220;<strong><em>New<\/em><\/strong>&#8221; and then &#8220;<em><strong>Add<\/strong><\/em>&#8220;;<\/li>\n<li style=\"cursor: text;\">Select &#8220;<em><strong>Device Event<\/strong><\/em>&#8221; and click &#8220;<em><strong>OK<\/strong><\/em>&#8220;;<\/li>\n<li style=\"cursor: text;\">Select the <strong>Device <\/strong>(camera) and <strong>Event <\/strong>(Motion Detection);<\/li>\n<li style=\"cursor: text;\">Click the &#8220;<strong>OK<\/strong>&#8221; button and then click on &#8220;<em><strong>Next<\/strong><\/em>&#8220;;<\/li>\n<li style=\"cursor: text;\">Click &#8220;<strong>Add<\/strong>&#8221; and then &#8220;<strong>Record<\/strong>&#8221; to an action.<\/li>\n<li style=\"cursor: text;\">Click &#8220;<strong>OK<\/strong>&#8221;
