Yup, I&#8217;ve been there and I have a quick solution for this.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">That message usually shows up when trying to add a camera via ONVIF.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">This issue is also common for other recorders such as <strong>Luma <\/strong>and <strong>LTS<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">I had this problem trying to add an <strong>Axis P1365 MK II <\/strong>to a <strong>DS-7604NE-E1\/4P<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Hikvision No Enough Bandwidth Msg\" data-id=\"27902\" width=\"719\" data-init-width=\"744\" height=\"134\" data-init-height=\"139\" title=\"Hikvision No Enough Bandwidth Msg\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/learncctv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Hikvision-No-Enough-Bandwidth-Msg.jpg\" data-width=\"719\" data-height=\"134\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Don&#8217;t worry. I have the solution to this problem.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\"><strong style=\"cursor: text;\">To solve the issue with a Hikvision NVR displaying the message &#8220;No enough network bandwidth&#8221;, just login to the Axis camera, open the ONVIF profile 1_h264 tab and change the bitrate to a lower value such as 4096 Kbps.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">There&#8217;s a video by the end of this article that shows the details on how to do that.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">The cause of the no enough network bandwidth message<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The message shows up in a&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3wFoQdt\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"outline: none;\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Hikvision NVR<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&nbsp;to indicate that the NVR can&#8217;t handle the traffic coming from the camera because it&#8217;s too high.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Well, a Full HD IP camera supposes to use around<strong> 2 to 5 Mbps<\/strong> in most situations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">So, what could possibly be wrong with the excessive bandwidth?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">That happens due to a miss communication between the devices, especially when they are using the <a href=\"https:\/\/learncctv.com\/onvif-protocol-the-benefits-and-drawbacks\/\" style=\"outline: none;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ONVIF protocol.<\/a> That happened to my Axis camera.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Yes, this is a problem related to an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axis.com\/en-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Axis <\/a>camera connecting to Hikvision NVR via ONVIF.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">The camera has a bandwidth range, and the NVR &#8220;thinks&#8221; that this is the value it supposes to use to communicate with the camera. You just need to fix that.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">How to fix the No enough network bandwidth issue<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">There are different ways to fix the problem.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">You can&nbsp;<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">update the NVR and camera&#8217;s firmware<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&nbsp;and check if the problem was solved, or you can<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&nbsp;look for the ONVIF configuration<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&nbsp;in the camera and&nbsp;<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">change it<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Update the device&#8217;s firmware<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Well, the firmware update is easy, and you probably know how to do it, right?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Usually, you just need to go over the setup menu, look for the upgrade section, and then upload the new firmware to the NVR or camera. That&#8217;s all.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Change the ONVIF configuration<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">So, let&#8217;s talk about the camera&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.onvif.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ONVIF <\/a>configuration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">It may be different for your camera, but let me show you an example with the camera I have here in my lab, an&nbsp;<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Axis P1365 MK II<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">The following picture shows the camera&#8217;s ONVIF menu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Pay attention to the ONVIF user and the media profiles.<\/p>\n<p><span><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Axis Camera ONVIF configuration\" data-id=\"27904\" width=\"746\" data-init-width=\"746\" height=\"861\" data-init-height=\"861\" title=\"Axis Camera ONVIF configuration\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/learncctv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Axis-Camera-ONVIF-configuration.png\" data-width=\"746\" data-height=\"861\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">As you can see, there&#8217;s an ONVIF user created on this camera and an H.264 profile.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">You need to configure the profile and change the Bitrate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">The picture below shows the bitrate information.<\/p>\n<p><span><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Axis camera ONVIF Bandwidth\" data-id=\"27903\" width=\"387\" data-init-width=\"387\" height=\"180\" data-init-height=\"180\" title=\"Axis camera ONVIF Bandwidth\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/learncctv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Axis-camera-ONVIF-Bandwidth.png\" data-width=\"387\" data-height=\"180\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">As you can see, the bitrate is set to high value, and you need to change that.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Change it to <strong>2048 <\/strong>(2Mbps) or <strong>4096 <\/strong>(4Mbps) according to your needs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">As soon as you change the bitrate, and reconnect the camera, you see the video.<\/p>\n<p><span><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Axis camera working in the Hikvision NVR\" data-id=\"27901\" width=\"751\" data-init-width=\"1280\" height=\"418\" data-init-height=\"712\" title=\"Axis camera working in the Hikvision NVR\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/learncctv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Axis-camera-working-in-the-Hikvision-NVR.jpg\" data-width=\"751\" data-height=\"418\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">And that&#8217;s all.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">You may have your Axis camera working in the Hikvision NVR.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Video: Fix for the Axis\/Hikvision no enough bandwidth issue<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Here&#8217;s a video that shows how to set up the bitrate in the Axis camera.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; cursor: text;\">Hit the play button to watch it.
