In this article, I talk about the following error message on Axis cameras:<\/p>\n

Error in deserializing body of reply message for operation “Get Profiles”.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"ONVIF<\/span><\/p>\n

Sometimes the message always shows an error related to the “Get Status<\/strong>“. <\/p>\n

You can see a message like this when testing the Axis camera via the ONVIF Device Manager software. (Free software tool).<\/p>\n

How to fix the deserializing error message<\/h2>\n

The quick way to fix this error message on Axis cameras is to reset the camera to its factory default state. You can keep the IP address.<\/p>\n

Here’s how to reset the Axis camera via the web interface:<\/p>\n

  • Log in to the camera via a web browser;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Go to Settings > System > Maintenance;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Click on the restore button;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Wait for the camera to restart;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Create a new password for the camera;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Follow the wizard to complete the setup.<\/span><\/li>\n

    That should be enough to get your camera back working.<\/p>\n
