The format recipe is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

rtsp:\/\/ [USER] : [PASS] @ [ADDRESS] : [RTSP PORT] \/Streaming\/Channels\/ [CH] 0 [STREAM TYPE]<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ingredients<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You will need to input the following in the recipe above:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[User]<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The user refers to the username you use to access your Hikvision camera<\/a> or recorder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Pass]<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The password used to access the log-in for the camera or recorder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Address]<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

[RTSP port]<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

This refers to the RTSP port on your device. The default number is usually 554.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[CH]<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The channel number you want to connect to<\/p>\n\n\n\n

[Stream Type]<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Choose from the following:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

0: Used for the mainstream and provides the highest resolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1: Substream, which is generally faster but with lower resolution<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this example, we will pretend that the device’s local IP is 200.238.0.1<\/strong> and its RTSP port is 554<\/u><\/em>. Thus its the format is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mainstream<\/p>\n\n\n\n
