Just click to accept and install.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Important<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the plugin installation sometimes there&#8217;s an issue with an annoying message that says &#8220;<em><strong>Please click here to download and install the plug-in<\/strong><\/em>&#8221; even after you&#8217;ve already installed it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">If that happens&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/learncctv.com\/hikvision-please-click-here-to-download-and-install-the-plugin-in-solved\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">click here<\/a> to read the article and solve the problem.<\/p>\n<p>[tcb-script async=&#8221;&#8221; src=&#8221;https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js&#8221;][\/tcb-script][tcb-script]     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});[\/tcb-script]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After entering the correct username and password, you will be able to see your cameras via Web Browser which means the local installation is OK.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As you can see in the picture below the DVR is working correctly through the local network and sending video to the web browser (I.E.).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Image from Hikvision DVR\" width=\"952\" height=\"563\" title=\"Hikvision-DVR-via-IE\" data-id=\"3897\" src=\"\/\/learncctv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Hikvision-DVR-via-IE.jpg\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The next step is to make sure the DVR has all the correct network information for the remote access configuration, you can check them in the network menu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Click on the DVR menu &#8220;<em><strong>Configuration<\/strong><\/em>&#8221; &nbsp;and &#8220;<em><strong>Network<\/strong><\/em>&#8221;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Hikvision DVR Network Menu\" width=\"1105\" height=\"683\" title=\"Hikvision-DVR-Network-Configuration-Menu\" data-id=\"3902\" src=\"\/\/learncctv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Hikvision-DVR-Network-Configuration-Menu.jpg\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>(click to enlarge)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>In the network basic settings menu check the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; The IPV4 DVR IP address (according to your network range).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; The IPV4 Subnet Mask (usually will be the same as your computer&#8217;s).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; The IPV4 Default Gateway (that&#8217;s the router IP).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8211; The DNS Server (You can use 4.2.2.2 and 8.8.8.8).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> If you check the DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) box, the DVR will receive all the information from the router, just make sure the information is correct and uncheck the DHCP box.<\/p>\n<h4>Configure the DVR ports<\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The DVR uses ports to communicate with the web browser, computer software and mobile App. (Those are virtual ports, no physical ones).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This information is available in the Network menu under the Basic Settings and Port. (See the picture below).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Hikvision DVR port configuration\" width=\"899\" height=\"355\" title=\"Hikvision-DVR-Network-Port-Configuration-Menu\" data-id=\"3911\" src=\"\/\/learncctv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Hikvision-DVR-Network-Port-Configuration-Menu.jpg\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Pay attention to the details here as they are very important.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Each port represents a service available in the DVR and a client such as a computer, a mobile or a tablet have access to them via those ports.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Note that I just changed the HTTP port from the default value (80) to 8081<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>8081 <\/strong>is just an example to replace the <strong>80 <\/strong>and is pretty common to change the port that way so the DVR port does not conflict with the router ports (which is 80 by default).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>RTSP <\/strong>port <strong>554 <\/strong>is a universal standard and some software receive video streaming from the DVR by requesting a connection to this port.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>HTTPS<\/strong> port <strong>443 <\/strong>is also a universal standard for secure connection via a web browser.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>Server<\/strong> port <strong>8000<\/strong><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>is used to stream video to a computer software or mobile App used by the manufacturer (Hikvision).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Important<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After you change the HTTP port from 80 to 8081 the web browser will disconnect, so you need to connect again by informing the new port number, in our example, you have to type <strong>http:\/\/192.168.1.1:8081<\/strong> in the web browser<\/p>\n<p>[tcb-script async=&#8221;&#8221; src=&#8221;https:\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js&#8221;][\/tcb-script][tcb-script]     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});[\/tcb-script]<\/p>\n<h3>2.
