Send commands to the camera using extra cables.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this case, you just need to run cables in parallel with the coaxial cables and use an <strong>RS-485 interface<\/strong> and a PTZ protocol such as <strong>Pelco-P, Pelco D<\/strong>, etc.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"PTZ camera using RS-485\" width=\"700\" height=\"218\" title=\"PTZ-camera-RS-485\" data-id=\"5030\" src=\"\/\/learncctv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/PTZ-camera-RS-485.jpg\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The analog PTZ camera and the joystick (or DVR) must have the same type of protocol to guarantee that the command is going to work.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>2.
