Keep reading.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The password reset was tested in a Dahua NVR model <strong>DHI-NVR-5208-8P-4KS2<\/strong> as show in the picture. One of them is through the unlock pattern where you need to draw a line in the correct sequence. If you don&#8217;t know such pattern, you have to reset the NVR password.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To recover the password just click on &#8220;<strong><em>Forgot Unlock Pattern<\/em><\/strong>&#8221; to see the password login interface. Scan a QR code and reset by email<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Using your mobile, download an app such as the <strong>QR Code Reader, Easy4ip or the QR code Barcode<\/strong><strong>Scanner<\/strong> to read the barcode presented by the NVR.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The following picture shows an example of the NVR barcode, just open the app in your mobile and point the camera to it.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Dahua NVR Reset Password QR Code\" width=\"690\" height=\"482\" title=\"Dahua NVR Reset Password QR Code\" data-id=\"5538\" src=\"https:\/\/learncctv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Dahua-NVR-Reset-Password-QR-Code.jpg\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Just follow the instructions and check your email to get a security code you need to unlock the NVR. This code is valid for 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>2. Answering a series of security questions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You need to answer 3 security questions that were configured in the NVR during the installation process.
