So it&#8217;s better to be prepared to fix different types of problems, like channels that don&#8217;t display on the screen for no apparent reason.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Hikvision DVR Channel No Channel 01 Display\" width=\"720\" height=\"193\" title=\"Hikvision DVR Channel No Channel 01 Display\" data-id=\"7104\" src=\"https:\/\/learncctv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Hikvision-DVR-Channel-No-Channel-01-Display.jpg\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this article, I explain how to fix the issue with the Hikvision DVR that won&#8217;t display the channels on the screen. (In fact, it&#8217;s just a configuration detail).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As you can see in the picture above, the <strong>channel 1 is not available<\/strong>&nbsp;on the menu, which indicates that&#8217;s just a configuration that was done by somebody else.<\/p>\n<p>[tcb-script async=&#8221;&#8221; src=&#8221;\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js&#8221;][\/tcb-script][tcb-script](adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});[\/tcb-script]<\/p>\n<h2>Check the channel<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I know you probably did that already, but just to make sure everything is OK, check the DVR channel that is not showing up to guarantee it gets a video signal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Go to the <strong>Camera management<\/strong> &gt; <strong>OSD <\/strong>and select the channel you want.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Hikvision DVR Channel is working\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" title=\"Hikvision DVR Channel is working\" data-id=\"7107\" src=\"https:\/\/learncctv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Hikvision-DVR-Channel-is-working.jpg\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you see that the channel is working you are good to go to the next step.<\/p>\n<p>[tcb-script async=&#8221;&#8221; src=&#8221;\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js&#8221;][\/tcb-script][tcb-script]     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});[\/tcb-script]<\/p>\n<h2>Fix the configuration<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Hikvision DVR allows you to select the channels you want to display on the screen and hiding the ones you don&#8217;t want to. It&#8217;s just a question of configuration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To change the configuration open the <strong>Configuration <\/strong>menu.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Hikvision DVR Main Menu Configuration\" width=\"720\" height=\"432\" title=\"Hikvision DVR Main Menu Configuration\" data-id=\"7112\" src=\"https:\/\/learncctv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Hikvision-DVR-Main-Menu-Configuration.jpg\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Click on the &#8220;<strong>Live View&#8221;&nbsp;<\/strong>button to open the next screen.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Hikvision DVR Live View Menu\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" title=\"Hikvision DVR Live View Menu\" data-id=\"7114\" src=\"https:\/\/learncctv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Hikvision-DVR-Live-View-Menu.jpg\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Check which channels are being displayed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The picture below shows the <strong>Channel A1 icon <\/strong>with the <strong>yellow <\/strong>color. That was after I click the channel to enable it (It was white before).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"width: 100%;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Hikvision DVR Channel Display\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" title=\"Hikvision DVR Channel Display\" data-id=\"7111\" src=\"https:\/\/learncctv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Hikvision-DVR-Channel-Display.jpg\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Look at the Channel A2, is the same thing. The icon is yellow which indicates the channel is active and being displayed.
